This is one of the efforts of Groundwork and the local young kids at Windhill Skate Park in doing up the park and re-painting it.
They’re working with a professional graffiti artist to learn how to do it ‘properly’ (whisper it quietly, ‘learn some skills’) while making the park look nicer and more welcoming, after it had become a bit run down with all the vandalism.
It’s still got a couple of weeks to run, every Friday at Windhill Skate Park 5-7pm so we’re going to pop down to see them in action, just as soon as we get these pesky leaflets out of the way!
