I’ll be taking a break from blogging regularly (I imagine) after the election, though it still seems I’m busy after the election despite not winning it!
Thanks to everyone who came out and voted or volunteers for us. We finished second – which is our best result ever since the ward was redrawn and renamed in 2004 and our best result in the area overall since 1999 or something ridiculous.
Over the next few years, as the cuts bite, the Tories’ popularity (in the North at least) is only going to fall, so it’s all to play for!
