I read something about this before, but the full story seems incredibly shocking.
Basically Philip Davies was debating with Labour MP Stephen Pound on Talksport radio when somehow a fight broke out. According to the link above it was Davies who attacked Pound and broke his rib!
Absolutely incredible behaviour for an MP to have, frankly neither MP comes out of it with any grace or positivity.
I’ll also admit to being annoyed Davies seems to have come out of it the better, you could say he gave him a ‘pounding’ (oh dear)! Swine!
I should have really checked this one out fully before posting, but the quotes in the link made me think it had an air of legitimacy . However, I’ve since been informed that the story is totally untrue and both sides confirm this. Rather than delete it as if I never posted it it’s only fair I keep this up here as a record of my mistake!
It’s odd that there are quotes from the DJ – maybe he was trying to stir up some controversy for his show.
